Free SEMINARS – The headline seminar this year will be focusing on business growth with Jo Tomlinson from Business Works UK chairing, along with 3 local members sharing their very own business journeys followed by a Q&A. The Yorkshire Wildlife Trust’s Tom Marshall will also be hosting a great workshop on ‘How to Make Your Business Wildlife Friendly’ and due to popular demand from previous years there will again be PR & Social Media workshops. 11.45 – Perfect your PR workshop

Fancy brushing up on your own PR skills or learning from scratch how to get the media’s attention? This short course will give you the tools to get started such as basic press release writing and what does and doesn’t make a news story.

12.30 – Growth is never by chance; it is the result of working together – Business Growth Workshop

Yorkshire Business owners share their business success stories about start up and their business growth with a Q&A to follow. Chaired by Jo Tomlinson from Business Works UK Ltd with Welcome to Yorkshire case studies

13.30 – “Customers: Love em or Lose em” – Customer service workshop ran by Shoppers Anonymous

During the ‘workshop’, Shopper Anonymous will showcase simple tips that can easily be adopted to improve your own customer experience delivery, importance of creating a fantastic first impression, timely follow up, appropriate communication tailored to the customer and the significance of demonstrating good body language.

14.15 – Making your business Wildlife friendly – Tom Marshall

Meet the Nature Triangle’s Tom Marshall and other local businesses, hear about the latest FREE information and advice available for you and your customers.

3pm –Social Media Workshop

Loud Crowd IT’s Director, David Johnson, will be delivering a workshop on how to get the most out of Social Media for your business. Social media is a free tool that every business can take advantage off, join David and find out key tips and advice to advance your social media knowledge.
