The successful Thrive Yorkshire Conference is back again for the fourth time and has moved to the fabulous Kings Hall & Winter Gardens on 14 Sept. The growing speaker and networking event is organised by the Ilkley Business Forum (IBF), a not-for-profit organisation with which BADCOT is affiliated – meaning BADCOT members can buy tickets at the discounted price of £15 which includes lunch!

Aimed at SMEs across Yorkshire, the event is a full day of learning, with four exceptional-quality Yorkshire-based speakers, and five workshop leaders – who will share practical tools, tips, and strategies on how to grow your business. Our Keynote Speaker is William Rogers the Managing Director of UKRD Group, which our key sponsor Stray FM belongs to. UKRD Group have won ‘The Best Company’ to work for 4 years in a row – No 1 in The Times Top 100. He will share some of the things that have led the group to this success.
We’re also excited to welcome back Ruth Whiteley from Impact Sales, whose workshop was very popular last year. Ruth will be talking about her time on ‘The Apprentice’ and the key things she learnt during the process, as well as some more of her infamous sales and business tips for success.

Finally, we’re excited to have Gavin Patterson, from Valeria Olive Oil, with us from the recent BBC series ‘Second Chance Summer’. Gavin, also from Ilkley, will tell us his business story, his key learnings from his time on the programme and how it’s never too late to follow your dreams!
