Thousands at Christmas Market 2017

We had a wonderful afternoon on Saturday 2nd December at our Christmas Market, Craft Fair and Lights Switch-on.

Thousands gathered to enjoy the stalls – many of which were new to the market – as well as the entertainment, food, drink and of course lights.

Thanks to everyone who helped to make it such a success: the Burley-in-Wharfedale Community Trust (for the Lights), Nick Turnbull (for the Craft Fair), Chris Stewart of Close-up Magic, our stewards, stallholders and of course the community and general public.

From BADCOT, a special thanks goes to Danny and Michelle Schofield of EPS Ltd who have given up huge amounts of their time to organise the market. Also to Look Lively Media for taking on the publicity free of charge and to Ian Lamond Photography. Also to BADCOT committee members Les Cousins of Beacon Antiques, Chris Hunt of Niche Design Architects and Roger Charnley of Burley Theatre Group for all their hard work.

Please get in touch if you can spare some time to help with next year’s market.
